Harper Grace Condon was born on July 8th, 2009 and has taken her place in heaven with all the other angel babies. She was precious and had the most beautiful hands. She favored her big sister Kendall. Although she was born on the 8th we found out about her passing on the 7th and the labor was induced. I was in labor for 18 hours and I actually didn''t want it to end. We are having a private memorial for her and her ashes will be put with all the other angel babies at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
We honestly thought that Harper would be able to come home with us one day. We have not found our peace yet that she is not...it has been very hard explaining to the kids. They keep asking why...I can't answer that when I have the same question. The hospital gave us her footprints/handprints and her baby blanket/bonnet along with a bear. For some reason the teddy bear as given the kids and me a little comfort.
We are still numb and are trying to find some peace...I wanted to announce her birth and give my precious husband a break...we appreciate all the calls and eventually we will feel like sharing more of Harpers story. As I feel that I can...I will post more on our blog.
