Who needs Santa when you have Mimi....

Seriously....Mimi outdoes Santa every year! When we arrived to Mimi's house the presents were stacked DEEP! I think the kids are more excited about going to Mimi's than to see what Santa has left for them...hahahha...good thing they know that presents aren't really the only reason we celebrate the day!
We had a great time with family....had some great food...well make that....a LOT of food! We headed back home to feed the reindeer and get ready for SANTA...the kids were fast to sleep...they were worn out from opening presents at Mimi's house. Dave and I have a tradition that when we get home Christmas Eve we put the kids to bed and then we celebrate Christmas together. We open a bottle of wine...and give each other our stockings and presents from each other. We have found that Christmas morning we have a lot of plastic to take off of toys...batteries to put into toys...and well we like to play with the kids and their new toys!
We also started a new tradition of Christmas dinner for the family at our house...as the kids get older they like to stay home and play and relax on Christmas....so mimi came to our house to see what SANTA had left and I fixed Christmas dinner! It was a success! Aunt Fay, Uncle Brady, Aunt Lizzie, Lauren Molly and Scott and of course Grandma and Grandpa all came...we were so excited to have everyone over! Kendall and Molly even got Papa to try some cookies from the easybake oven!!!
