A visit from Santa

You never know whats going to happen or who is going to show up when you are dealing with my mom and/or my fabulous aunts! We were outside having family pictures made with the photographer...and who drove up in their red "believe" truck? Why yes...it would be Santa straight from the North Pole! The awe in the kids face was made for the movies! Santa had all the kids gather round and gave them each a gift addressed to each individual kid...a special letter to send back to him and a golden "believe" coin. How cool! The kids ripped into their presents before getting pictures made with Santa....Santa even made a special visit to grandma Jess and Papa! I think Grandma Jess was taken with him!!!! She's so cute!
On thanksgiving night...after dessert down at Aunt Fay's....mom and I ran back to our house to start the brunch with santa food and put up the christmas tree...real quick like...the magic of little elves! Dave and I ended the evening with a good old card game and some drinks with the other cousins...some of which are still in college....apparently we are getting a little older and don't seem to be able to "hang" anymore!!! We were so tired by 2 am that you would have thought we haven't slept in days! Oh the fun of the holidays!
