The baby garden...

Today was beautiful outside....in so many ways the perfect day....and in so many ways not the perfect day. It is hard to understand that family outtings will never include our little Harper...I have been couped up in the house for a while now. Last Monday I started getting really sick and was in a lot of pain. Dave called the doctor and we had to go in and see what was going on....It ended up that I had a bad infection and for some reason my blood pressure was extremely high...it wasn't even that high during the pregnancy. I know take 12 pills and 1 shot of blood thinner every day! They have signs all over the doctor's office that say "The reward for labor is life"... I was in labor for 18 hours and still am trying to recover. Not that we should expect a reward...but?
So....when Dave got home we decided that we would take the kids to the cemetery...I never thought I would be taking photos of a cemetary but we did. I wanted some to put in her baby book and it really is beautiful, especially by the lake. There is a "baby garden" there where all babies that were still born or passed shortly after birth are....there is a bench that simply says "Some souls need only a moment to be made perfect."
