I went to my doctors appt. this morning with the forewarning that we would probably be sent to the hospital to be on bed rest...fortunately they are giving us 1 more week at home. I go in on July 7th to the high risk doctor...he will decide then if we will go to the hospital to remain on bedrest or if we will be having a C-section. Either way I will be giving up the couch for something far less appealing.
I am only 24 weeks...next Tuesday I will be 25 weeks. Dr. Nathan says we have to at least make it to the 25 week point. His biggest concern is that the placenta will stop working which means that the baby will not survive at that point. If I am in the hospital they will be monitoring me twice if not more a day and will be ready for anything. We have so much to talk about and so much information to settle with. My mom came down today to take the kids home with her for the weekend so we could have some time to discuss everything. We are just keeping our fingers crossed and saying a lot of prayers that everything turns out okay. The doctors are amazed that we have made it this far...since it took a while to figure out what was going on.
